Pastor michael todd preachings9/12/2023 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. However, after careful observation of his doctrine and conduct, I can no longer recommen. (2 Samuel 11:26-27)ĭo you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Mike Todd is the pastor of Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. But the thing David had done displeased the Lord. After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. Our problem is not vision, but clarity of vision from God. When Uriah’s wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him. Today was a very special Sunday as Pastor Michael revealed our word of the year for 2022. (Revelation 3:15-16)Įlijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him but if Baal is God, follow him.” (1 Kings 18:21)ĭo not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. Here at Transformation Church we believe in Representing God to the lost and found for Transformation in Christ. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Comfort is a counterfeit appears cheap but cost everything.Catering to your comfort kills things that were supposed to live.Being committed to your calling makes you deny your comfort.Catering to comfort always comes with consequences.Yesterday’s accomplishments doesn’t count for today’s commitment.

Combination permutation9/12/2023 Six minus four, that's gonna give us the number that we wanna get rid of. We wanted the first fourįactors, so the way we got two is we said six minus four. Where do we get that? We wanted the first four, the first four factors of six factorial. Now what's two times one? Two times one is two factorial. We're gonna divide that, we're gonna divide that. Which is going to be equal to six times five times four times three times two times one, but we wanna get rid of the two times one. Wanted to write in terms of factorial, we could write this as six factorial, six factorial The permutation formula, one way to write this, if we We've seen in one of theĮarly videos on permutations that, when we talk about This six times five times four times three is the number of permutations. Is this, 120 possibilities there would be three possibilities of who we put in chair four. For each of these 30 possibilities of seating these first two people, there'd be four possibilities of who we put in chair number three. Of who we'd put here, because one person's already sitting down. For each of those six possibilities there would be five possibilities We seat them in order, we might as well, weĬan say well there'd be six possibilities here. People into four chairs? Well the first chair, if Permutations are there of putting these six We can go through this fairly quickly, one, two, three, four chairs. Person A, B, C, D, E, and F, so we have six people. Start using other examples, other than just people sitting in chairs, but let's just stick with it for now. But each incrementalĮxample I'm gonna review what we've done before, but hopefully go a little bit further. So I think it never hurts to do as many examples. I've been struggling for over a week with this.Įxposed to permutations and combinations it takes a little bit to get your brain around it, Leaving us with the FIRST PERMUTATION that was counted or ONE COMBINATION of those 4 letters. Essentially, what the k! is doing by dividing the TOTAL PERMUTATIONS, is it is canceling all the additional permutations that were counted MORE THAN ONCE in the permutations formula. But were not counting permutations only COMBINATIONS, thus all we want to count is the FIRST PERMUTATION of the four letters. That means ABCD is 1 COMBINATION but it has 4! PERMUTATIONS (ABCD, ADCB, DCBA.etc). In light of this, it becomes clear that the permutation formula is counting one combination k! times, k = the number of chairs or spots (4 in the video). This reminded me of the principle of Inclusion/Exclusion which is basically about subtracting over counted elements. It's deceiving because the k! is actually DIVIDING the entire permutation equation. The part that confused me about the combinations formula is what the multiplication of k! in the denominator is doing to the formula. the number of permutations is equal to n!/(n-k)! so the number of combinations is equal to (n!/(n-k)!)/k! which is the same thing as n!/(k!*(n-k)!). So the formula for calculating the number of combinations is the number of permutations/k!. The group size can be calculated by permuting over the number of chairs which is equal to the factorial of the number of chairs(k!). So the number of combinations is equal to the number of permutations divided by the size of the groups(which in this case is 6). If we didn't care about these specific orders and only cared that they were on the chairs then we could group these people as one combination. So some of the permutations would be ABC, ACB, BAC, BCA, CAB and CBA. In our example, let the 5 people be A, B, C, D, and E. The number of combinations is the number of ways to arrange the people on the chairs when the order does not matter. So the formula for the number of permutations is n!/((n-k)!. For n people sitting on k chairs, the number of possibilities is equal to n*(n-1)*(n-2)*.1 divided by the number of extra ways if we had enough people per chair. We can make a general formula based on this logic. So the total number of permutations of people that can sit on the chair is 5*(5-1)*(5-2)=5*4*3=60. On the third chair (5-2) people can sit on the chair. On the second chair (5-1) people can sit on the chair. If there are 3 chairs and 5 people, how many permutations are there? Well, for the first chair, 5 people can sit on it.

Life cycle9/12/2023 We provide improvement options for technology and supply chain development, and put these results in the context of the past 10 years of CM LCA research. When using global average energy mixes, CM has a lower carbon footprint than beef, but higher than pork and chicken. When using renewable energy during production and in the most important parts of the supply chain, CM has a lower carbon footprint than ambitious production benchmarks beef and pork, and comparable to chicken. CM uses much less land compared to all conventional meats and has lower nitrogen-related emissions in all scenarios, due to much improved feed conversion. We conclude that CM can offer environmental gains compared to conventional meats (beef, pork, chicken). This replaces the CE Delft report previously published on this page. On this page we publish the open access peer reviewed article (Int J LCA) and supplementary materials, which are the result of over three years of data collection and analysis. This is the first LCA study which uses primary data from multiple CM companies and from associated companies in the CM supply chain, cross-checked by independent experts. In this ex-ante Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of cultivated meat (CM, also sometimes referred to as cell-based meat, clean meat, cultured meat and in-vitro meat) we provide insight into the environmental impact of this product when produced at commercial scales in 2030.

Making an audio plugin player computer9/12/2023 Simply load up your favorite VST plugin and choose the MIDI channel for your input. While the set of features is pretty limited, the ease of use, stability, and fast load times offer just about all you need to run any plugin standalone. This standalone application was made to host virtual instruments. This minimalist piece of freeware is barely a VST host but more of a wrapper for Windows and Linux computer systems. Single-knob control for various parametersĪ few years back. Tons of built-in instruments and VST effects Overall, if you're a Mac user and you like the flow and aesthetic of Apple software, you'll love Apple Mainstage. You can create macro knobs to control various features of a single patch, and Mainstage gives you a visual display of every knob that you're controlling, so you can always see what parameters you're altering. The interface is sleek and intuitive, as you would likely expect from Apple, allowing you to program chord triggers with ease. Keyboardists will love classic keyboard emulations, such as the Hohner Pianet, Fender Rhodes, and Hammond B3 emulations. It's also much better than lugging around a heavy Twin Reverb amp. It's an excellent choice for those who love the plugins, presets, and effects plugins found in Logic Pro X, though want the live performance flexibility of a quality plugin host.Īs a guitarist, I can't help but fawn over the amp rigs and virtual pedalboards, which offer a quality sound for on-the-go performances. One of the most popular and flexible VST hosts for Mac users is the The software allows you to define triggers to easily control external devices as well, and though it is not a DAW, you can record and playback MIDI and audio, making it a wonderfully unique little sketchpad for jotting new ideas down on the fly.įor studio use, the morphing and randomization tools can be found at the top of each plugin editor, making it easy for you to experiment and find new sounds in a pinch. It also gives you quick access to the most important mixing parameters for your plugins, including pan settings, gain settings, presets, wet/dry mix levels, and more. The workplace in Cantabile is nothing short of intuitive, giving you racks for your VST instruments and effects and allowing you to route MIDI and audio to and from various sources with ease. Whether you're performing on stage or rehearsing at the studio, you'll enjoy the flexibility and practicality of this high-quality software. It offers an intuitive way to use VST instruments and effects plugins in real time, thanks to its fantastic MIDI-routing capabilities. Is one of the most powerful and flexible VST hosts on the market today, made for those who perform live. Not only are VST hosts simpler to navigate, but they are also more efficient for a computer to manage. The simplicity comes from the fact that you won't find a myriad of features you'd find in standard recording software. Traditional DAWs can certainly be used for live performance, though the ease of use and stability you get from using a VST host is unmatched. While you might refer to a DAW as a VST host, we're going to be discussing standalone application options that are made specifically for running VSTs. VST hosts are pieces of software you can use to load up VST instruments or effects. If you've been looking for the best VST hosts for your practice or live performance needs, come dive in as we explore a few of the top VST hosts on the market today. For example, you might want to jam with your VST plugins at rehearsal or play them live on stage. However, there might be times when you want to hop on and play around with your VST instruments and effects without launching your DAW. If you produce with a computer and DAW, you more than likely already use VST plugins. When VST plugins came around, they provided access to top-of-the-line sounds and effects to anyone with a computer. Without VSTs, the world of digital music-making wouldn't be the same as it is today.Ĭertain hardware instruments, synthesizers, and effects only used to be available to those who could afford them or had the space for them.

Gord tragically hip9/12/2023 The love between Hip Fans and the band is altogether different then that of a more recognizable Justin Beaber type. But for me, Credit is the way in which they touch their fans, and the response that their music invokes from them. If "Credit" is a matter of Global recognition, then it is fair to say that The Hip has not had enough of it. Had the American Commercial Machine taken up The Hip, I am afraid that they would have been corrupted and made into something PoPish, fake and dismal. And in my estimation, both the band and their fans (that border on fanatical) profited greatly for it. The Hip always felt natural, true to their art, passionate about their music. The hip did not succumb to the degradations of commercialization that so many bands get tied up in. And although It makes me sad that this amazing group of performers never caught on in the greater United States, over all I'm actually happy this should be the case. Of all the concerts I have been to, I count each of these experiences among my most treasured. I've seen them play at the Corel Center, at a small bar in Ottawa and at the Sugar Bush. And although my fascination with their music began to fade with Phantom Power, I still count them among my favorite bands and know all the words to the majority of their songs by heart from having listen to them all many hundreds of times over the years. It's the kind of music that makes every young boy want to learn how to play guitar and drums if only just to jam your heart out along with the prolific number of tracks this band has put out. We grew up with their music, the Quintessential bar music, bonfire party music and all around good timin music. I remember as a young teenager when The Hip first came on the scene. The hip has a (Relatively speaking) huge following along the boarder towns near to Kingston and all along the St. I just want to say as an American that grew up on the Canadian border, and one who has spent a fair amount of time in Kingston, Ottawa, Cornwall, Toronto an Ontario, Not all Americans are complete jack off's. You're right, the Hip don't get enough credit, its cuz the huge world of consumers live in America. Many Years ago at this point, MadScooter said: Cavalry song:Īre the souls of all dead troopers camped It was coopted by landlubbers and appears in an old post-Civil-War U.S. Where the grub is good and the bunks are cleanīut the traditional idea of Fiddler's Green is much older than that. Fiddler's Green is a kind of "sailor's heaven," where sailors go when they die.

Iphone shortcuts automation9/12/2023 As you can see, this toggle is the key to iOS 14 background automations. When it’s turned off it will run automatically without needing user confirmation. When it’s turned on and the conditions are triggered, you’ll see a notification asking to you tap to run the automation. Here’s the essential part: Once you’ve finished setting up an automation and get to the final screen, you’ll see a toggle at the bottom that says Ask Before Running. Then I set it up as an automation, like so: At 11:59 PM, daily. Here’s an example: Every night at 11:59 PM, I like to run an automation that saves an HTML version of certain web pages. Time of Day, Alarm, Arrive/Leave from a location, Before I Commute, Email, Message, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, App, AirPlane Mode, Do Not Disturb, Battery Level, and Charger. There are multiple conditions under which an automation can be triggered. I don’t have experience with these automations because I don’t have smart home devices, so I’ll be sticking with personal automations. A Home Hub is an automation that can work for everyone in your home with an Apple device. There are two types of automations: Personal Automations and Home Hubs. But since automations are device-dependent, they don’t survive. Depending on what the automation is you might be better off creating a shortcut first, then having it run under certain conditions.Įven if the automation doesn’t need to sync, it’s a good practice because if you delete the Shortcuts app or wipe your device, your shortcuts will still be there as long as they’re being synced by another device. Unlike shortcuts, automations don’t sync with iCloud, a.k.a between your devices. This is the area in which we’ll be working. When you open the Shortcuts app you’ll see a tab at the bottom, in the middle, called Automations. It’s now possible for certain automations to run entirely in the background without user confirmation. A welcome change in iOS 14 users involves Shortcuts.

Gt idrive bike9/12/2023 In November of 1987 GT showed its first line of 5 mountain bikes at the young Interbike Show in Reno, Nevada. In light of this Richard turned his focus onto the new sport of Mountain Biking, although he never forgot BMX and in fact turned up the heat on his competitors. As the late 80 ‘s approached, BMX racing tapered off and the BMX business got hit hard. For better or for worse GT goes from garage to corporate in a big way.ġ987-1994 BMX DIES WHILE GT MOVES INTO MOUNTAIN BIKE. GT establishes itself as the preeminent racing brand in the sport and begins to dominate the race venues that would lead to the nickname “the firm”. During this period GT would come to dominate BMX racing as the sport matured into a worldwide phenomena. Soon, they grow from one office into 4 separate buildings that handle welding, warehousing, shipping and administrative. The company moves into new digs on 2300 Container Lane in Huntington Beach California. The first frame designed by Gary for freestyle, the Performer, becomes a legend in freestyle and, still today, in 2002, is one of the most recognized brand names in juvenile bicycles. GT expands exponentially every year and enters the new off shoot sport of BMX, Freestyle. Little did they know that in 20 years they would build together one of the most well known bicycle companies in the world.ġ980-86 THE GLORY DAYS OF BMX. Richard is the business and marketing genius and Gary is the engineer and craftsmen. Richard sold his bike shop and began selling frames as fast as possible to bicycle distributors across the USA and into Europe. In 1979 they incorporated into GT Bicycles, Inc. Things happen fast and soon Richard and Gary invested in a shop dedicated to making top quality Cro-moly BMX frames in Santa Ana. Gary agrees and the most famous partnership in BMX history starts.ġ975-1980 BUILDING A BRAND, ONE FRAME AT A TIME. Richard calls Gary and asks him if he can stock and sell the frames. He notices that they are selling and that people want to know how to get them. Richard Long owns and runs a bike shop in Orange County, California. His son’s bike gets noticed and Gary starts to supply the frames to other kids and building his reputation one frame at a time.ġ974 THE BEGINNING. With the high grade aircraft cro-moly tubing used for dragsters, Gary starts to make frames for his son to race at the MX track. Gary is not only a musical instrument repairmen with experience welding things like trumpets and trombones, but is also a professional drag racer and has experience welding and building cro-mo “rails” or chassis, for drag racers. He notices that the bikes are heavy, slow and fragile. In 1973, a father named Gary Turner is one of the dads that goes to Moto Cross races and watches the kids racing, including his own. Dad’s get involved and Bicycle Moto Cross was born. Between moto’s parents allow the youngsters to race bicycles on the big dirt tracks. Moto Cross takes off and MX racing is big. It turned out to be a 2009 GT Palomar, which came with a set of iffy cut down Answer hyperlite bars as well.Įverything else i had lying around and since the photos I given it a good riding and it is quite fun to ride.IT IS THE EARLY 1970’s. The reason I bought this particular job lot, I saw a GT frame, and thought why not. The stem came from a job lot I had bought of Facebook, which I got for a quid. The Deore 2002 brakeset, and gearset all came from a freecycle job lot which I had planned on hanging on something else, but could not resist putting on this build. This bike also came fitted with a set of Magura HS11 amongst other things. The forks and handlebars came from a bike I bought at the local recycling centre for £7.00. They had been bought for another project which I then decided I didn't want them for. The wheels are GT branded ones (although the branding is really only a sticker), which I think come for 2000-2001. It made a massive difference compared to the stock RST 22A shock that originally was fitted to it. While building this, the rear shock appeared on ebay, and a last minute punt also secured it for peanuts as well. I did also realise that the front mech bottom bracket cable guide was missing, so a shout out on facebook resulted in a very kind chap sending me one for free. To build this up to ride, I only had to buy a rear mech hanger (as it was missing it), a new chain, full set of cables, a full set of brake blocks, and bolts for the lock on grips as the allen sockets in the original bolts were rounded. I don't often post in this group, but I've always fancied riding one of these, and so when I saw the frame going for peanuts on ebay, I couldn't resist.

Galaga online gamepad9/12/2023 The former is a superb, exciting, drift-happy blast through a grimy racing underworld, with pitch-perfect touchscreen controls. This popular racing franchise has had several remakes for iPhone, two of which remain on the App Store: The Need for Speed Most Wanted ($5/£5) and Need for Speed No Limits (free + IAP). Be mindful the tougher difficulty levels are tricky to the point it won’t just be the hideous enemies giving you nightmares. There were 3D blasters before Doom, but Id Software’s horror-tinged entry defined a genre – and one that’s poorly catered for on iPhone, which makes Doom ($5/£5) and Doom 2 ($5/£5) worth revisiting all the more.īoth games are present and correct, with solid attempts at touchscreen controls – although, again, a controller is beneficial. Fancy something designed for the touchscreen instead? Sonic Runners Adventure ($3/£3) does for Sonic what Super Mario Run did for Mario. These remastered console titles look great and play well – especially if you’ve a controller. Instead, try Sonic the Hedgehog Classic (free or $2/£2), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Classic (free or $2/£2) and Sonic CD Classic (free or $2/£2). Sega’s blue hedgehog appears in many iPhone games, but ignore throwaway 3D-based efforts and last year’s risible Olympics cash-in. This might sound reductive, but the combination of carefully crafted levels and familiar characters makes for an enjoyable romp – far more so than the micro-transaction/loot box-heavy racing game that is Mario Kart Tour (free + IAP). But unlike Super Mario Bros, this game’s an auto-runner – you only tap the screen to make Mario jump. Nintendo’s most famous face came to iPhone in Super Mario Run (free or $10/£10). A pity, since the basic game and the online ‘battle royale’ mode are otherwise great fun. It’s been packed with freemium trappings – the worst being an abhorrent subscription payment for removing adverts. But iPhone Tetris (free + IAP) is terrible. The original Tetris was a marvel – a game created in Russia, on an obscure computer no-one elsewhere had heard of. If you want an authentic Pac-Man with responsive touchscreen controls, this is the one to go for. Secondly, this is a premium game on iPhone, free from the grind and garbage that afflicts Pac-Man. First, the original game is better than Pac-Man, with smarter enemies and varied mazes. Pac-Man ($3/£3) gets her own entry, for two reasons. (Even hard-as-nails classic games usually gave you three!) But mastery reaps rewards as you learn to tackle attack waves and beat colossal bosses. The freemium grind and single-life mechanic can grate. This update includes echos of the original, but is faster and more varied. The 1981 Galaga coin-op was Space Invaders with dive-bombing aliens. Galaga Wars (free) also breaks from the game’s past. Veterans might grumble, but this neon-infused update remains intense, has a single-purchase ads buyout, and keeps the original’s chilling ‘the end’ message after your inevitable demise. Missile Command: Recharged (free or $3/£3) simplifies everything, automating launches via touchscreen taps. The original 1980 Missile Command arcade cabinet finds you fending off a nuclear attack by firing missiles from three bases. Pac-Man Geo (free) attempts to transplant Pac-Man to real-world maps – but loses itself along the way. Pac-Man Party Royale (Apple Arcade) is a modern cartoonish take that’s fun in multiplayer. Pac-Man (free + IAP) includes the original arcade effort and has solid swipe-controls – but also IAP and freemium gunk. The yellow dot-muncher is gaming’s most famous character. On iPhone, Space Invaders ($2/£2) is a straight port of the arcade game you can unwisely play using the accelerometer or, better, with responsive on-screen controls. Invaders from space are (slowly) descending while marching back and forth. On iPad, connect a PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S controller. If you’ve an iPhone, we recommend the Backbone and Razer Kishi, both of which ‘stretch’ to fit your iPhone and are powered by it. The Backbone controller, wrapped around an iPhone.
